SYNOPSIS: The brother of the coffined werewolf from the first
Howling movie is told by Stefan, an occultist, that (gasp!) his sister is a werewolf! He and his journalist friend don't believe it until they are attacked by werewolves and witness the sister exhumed and transform before their eyes. With the sister safely locked back in her crypt, Stefan insists they all go to Transylvania to confront Stirba, the leader of all the werewolves and (gasp!) Stefan's sister! Jenny and Ben hook up in Transylvania and the rest of the movie is a weird chase through the Transylvanian village streets and countryside until the final confrontation between Stefan and Stirba.

Most Ludicrous Premise |
Titanium and Man Evolving into Beasts The super-werewolves are immune to silver. So you need titanium knitting needles. Stirba was born 10 millennia ago. All werewolves will reveal themselves. Evolution is reversed. What??

Oblivious |
Werewolf Car Accident "Dis wooman vas heet by a kar! Ve must git her to a dooktur qvickly." Could it be a trap? Stefan knows it is. The other two? "Where the hell did everybody go?"

Worst Special Effect |
The Final FX Battle The ultimate showdown between Stefan and Stirba (his sister, remember). She seems to be trying to use her special FX to seduce him... But in the end, he stabs her in the name of God. Bad FX spill out and destroy everything.

Acting Appropriately Stupid |
Let's Follow the Mysterious Dwarf Our heroes step outside into a village they know is overrun by werewolves. A mysterious dwarf beckons. "Should we follow him?" "Why not?" It must be the post-nookie afterglow.

"Let's Up The Rating To 'R'" |
Boobiest Ending The end credits features the crappy rock band singing the signature song, and Sybil Danning's bursting free of her bodice over and over and over again, baring it all in time to the music, interspersed with scenes from the film.

Gorgeous and famous blonde actress with perhaps

A dwarf from Czechoslovakia who made it
reasonably big. Was in Amadeus

were going to hide him in the background in
Howling II, but I'm glad they
gave him a bigger role. I guess the
production company refused to cache a small
Czech. |
