A reign of terror! |
Lisa is lonely. She feels neglected, both emotionally and sexually, by her architect husband. And apparently...this can summmon demons, at least according to the opening blurb.
So Lisa starts having these...visitations, where she's, um, serviced by an invisible lover. Then, he starts to become visible, bit by bit. Her husband starts to become jealous of her "dreams," and her psychic friend Ann-Marie hears about them and warns the couple about, you know, demons.
As Lisa becomes more aloof and distant, her husband Burt tries to reconnect. But then the weird incidents start...their daughter Michelle gets visited by a weird witch-woman. Ann-Marie is nearly parboiled by their hot-tub. Finally, Ann-Marie's joker of a husband is killed by a guillotine mishap.
It culminates in a basement confrontation with evil as the house begins burning down. Ann-Marie is killed and the "ghost lover" sacrifices himself for Lisa's sake. I guess. It's hard to tell. But in the end the happy family goes back to normal...or DO they??
