SYNOPSIS: Cutter and JJ are low-level race car drivers, frenemies, and rivals for the affections of Cutter's girlfriend (and JJ's ex), Tammy. In an important race, the on-track action gets a little heated, and the two crash. JJ walks away, but Cutter's car catches fire and he's unable to escape. JJ walks away from racing and builds a career driving semis hauling race cars to tracks. Seventeen years later, a delivery takes him through his old hometown and he decides to look up Tammy, who is married and raising her and Cutter's (yeah, right) teenage daughter. Her husband is restoring Cutter's old car. Unfortunately, Cutter's ghost is haunting the car and when he sees JJ, he gets pissed and goes on a killing spree, starting with Tammy's husband, and framing JJ for the deaths. For some reason, nobody buys "I'm being framed by a haunted race car" as a defense, so JJ has to rescue the daughter who hates him for killing both of her dads, dodge the law, and stop Cutter once and for all. The first two present major challenges but, as we'll see, the last one is surprisingly easy.
