Revenge the Motive, Bloodpact the Answer!
He waited a lifetime to unleash his revenge!
Nomination Year: 1996
SYNOPSIS:
Looking to avenge his father's death after he was murdered by gangsters when he failed to pay protection money, a monastery novice strives tirelessly with the help of students and a drunkard to learn advanced kung-fu techniques.
The interesting thing about "JACKIE CHAN IN 'Jackie Chan and the 36 Crazy Fists'" (a.k.a. Bloodpact) is that Jackie Chan isn't actually in it. It is, however, Jackie Chan's directorial debut. NOT a good start. Pity.

That "Old Fart" Can Kick Your Ass
The abbot objects to their mission? Ah, phooey. "The abbot is an old fart."
Aguably the most famous (if somewhat
comedic) martial artist in the world
after Bruce Lee, he's better known for
his amazing stuntwork than his directing
prowess. Not that he's that
bad a director (okay, except for Bloodpact),
but he's an amazing fight and stunt
choreographer. Does his own stunts.
AKA "Tony Leung," "Hsiung Kuang," and
others, did more stunt work than
anything... But also had a few kung-fu
roles in movies, including in the IP
Man franchise.
A staggeringly ENORMOUS 370 IMDb.com
credits in a career that spans from 1959
to at least 2020. It would almost be
easier to list the Chinese/HK chop-
sockey films he wasn't in.
Absolutely stunning Chinese beauty also
known as "Suet Mai," "Mi Hsueh," and
others. Was the Grand Empress Dowager on
"Chronicle of Life" and Green Shadow in
The Butterfly Murders.
