Titanic II  (2010)
[+]
Titanic 2
Tagline(s):100 Years Later, Lightning Strikes Twice.
They Said It Couldn't Happen Twice...
Nomination Year: 2026
SYNOPSIS:

It's the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, so what better way to commemorate this? Build an even BIGGER ship and call it the Titanic 2! What could happen??

Second curse, same as the first. But this time, high-tech stuff is involved...and all fails to prevent a rogue wave (caused by ice shelf disintegration) from slamming an iceberg into it!

It's kinda like The Poseidon Adventure...until the second wave threatens. Also, the Final Girl's daddy is flying around in a helicopter trying to save her. But will he be in time?

Kiss Your Cravasse Goodbye
In Oh-So-Obvious Green Screen, they "stand" near an Arctic shelf. Then (of course) the quake hits! The Expendable Scienitst watches the Bad CGI cracks form, runs...then FALLS IMPOSSIBLY FAST into a crevasse! Oh, so bad CGI everywhere.
"Whoops!"
Tap or Swipe...No, the Other Side
Poor Kelly. Crushed under a filing cabinet. While they (inanely) tell her she's going to be all right, they can't stop the bleeding... So they stupidly use a credit card! But the worst part? You can clearly see the BACK of the card is facing up in the wider shots and POOF now it's the FRONT of the card in the closeups.
"WHAT?!"
No One Could Have Anticipated This...Except Everyone

They're assessing damage. Hayden says, "We're designed for head-on collisions! We never anticipated getting hit from the side!"

You mean EXACTLY like the original Titanic? OMG!

Directors
Director Claim to Fame
Shane Van Dyke The uncredited director of Paranormal Entity...you know what THAT means! He also wrote Titanic II. Ick.
Cast
Actor Character Claim to Fame
Shane Van Dyke Hayden Walsh Writer, director, actor...usually of the same film. Was in over a dozen episodes of "Diagnosis Murder," in various roles (like Alex Smith); Greg in Super Shark; Ben Manners in the Murder 101 franchise; and Jake Van Ryberg in Transmorphers: Fall of Man
Marie Westbrook Amy Maine Does a lot of voice work for animated projects and videogames. Quite beautiful. She was actually at Origins the year Titanic II was "honored"...but refused to attend.
Bruce Davison James Maine Extremely prolific with over 275 credits and a career spanning over 50 years, he often plays Senators, like in X-Men and on "Ozark." Recently played Nicola Tesla in The Lightning Code. Of course, that means he stumbles into a LOT of Bad Movies. Like this one.
Brooke Burns Kim Patterson Jennifer Cullen in The Most Wonderful Time of the Year; Katrina in Shallow Hal; Jessie Owens on "Baywatch"; Eva in Death to the Supermodels; and a bunch of sappy Christmas movies.
Michelle Glavan Kelly Wade In over a dozen episodes of "Ladies of Rap"; Jan in Laid in America; was "Miley Cyrus" on one episode of "Epic Rap Battles of History"; and my personal favorite: the psychic commercial lady in Dude Bro Party Massacre III
Carey Van Dyke Elmer Coolidge A few TV episodes centering around murder/procudurals, like "Diagnosis Murder" and Murder 101: The Locked Room Mystery. No doubt thanks to his brother, Shane Van Dyke.
