SYNOPSIS: A secret agent is sent to the U.S.S.R. to sabotage the first ICBM made there. He makes contact with a female agent, who is undercover as paramour to a fat, slovenly, and abusive government official. The hero secretly lives in their closet for a few months until the two agents make contact with a third, a fake Brit complete with fake Brit accent, who gives them a bomb. On the way to sabotage the rocket, the Brit and the woman get shot. The agent sucessfully infiltrates the rocket, guarded by two guys in a Fotomat, but the bomb is discovered and the rocket is saved. The saboteur good guy agent is captured and killed. Meanwhile, seemingly in a different film, all is normal back in the good ol' U.S. of A. Until...it's announced that the rocket is coming. Suddenly, chaos: people eat pizza, they buy ties, and blind men walk around intoning "Help me." The rocket destroys New York, but by that time it's hard to care.

Barry Mahon The part played by Steve McQueen in The Great Escape was loosely based on his experiences in World War Two. He was also Errol Flynn's personal pilot -- imagine what he saw. Went from doing pornos to, of all things, '60s "groovy" renditions of kiddie films and fairy tales.
