- Deus Ex Machina
The Power of Love
The moon-aliens are freezing the entire Earth, and nobody can stop it. Suddenly, the aliens relent because the two Earthlings (and the cat) they captured demonstrated love. All off-camera, of course.
- Worst Science
The Electromagnetic Ray Screen Helmet, Free with Ten Box Tops
"I'm activating my Electromagnetic Ray Screen Helmet, which will allow me to breathe on the moon without all those expensive props and special effects."
Acting Appropriately Stupid
Touch It! Touch...It...
First dozen people on the moon, right? They fire a rocket and a stream of unknown substance pours out of the cliff. What does the lead (and presumably smartest) scientist do? He sticks his hands FULL INTO IT. It's lava, and he burns himself horribly. Yay!
- Worst Special Effect
Class "C" Engine, Class "C" Plot, Class "C" Effects...
The German and the other guy sacrifice themselves to drop a bomb into a volcano. The scenes switch from them in an obviously darkened studio (NOT a cockpit), to the toy rocket outside. When it crashes, there is clearly a stick involved.
