The Glove: Lethal Terminator
Nomination Year: 1999
SYNOPSIS: Our hero (John Saxon) is a bounty-hunter tracking down an ex-convict (Rosie Grier) who is getting revenge on those who were cruel to him while he was in prison (primarily the guards, the warden, etc).
The film is called "The Glove" because Rosie Grier dons steel-plated gauntlets.

Easily mistaken for Michael Ironside,
Saxon has been
in nearly 200 roles. From Lt. Thompson
in the
A Nightmare on Elm Street
franchise to
Roper in Enter the Dragon
to Agent Chase
in From Dusk Til Dawn.
You've seen him. |

You probably know his raspy, slightly lisped voice.
Son of famous old-time comic Ed Wynn, he was the
villian in some Disney films (like The Absent-Minded
Professor, Herbie
Rides Again and The Shaggy D.A.
); played Col. "Bat" Guano in Dr.
Strangelove; and voiced the Winter Warlock
in the TV special Santa Claus Is Coming to
Town, as well as much, much more. |
Michael Pataki |

Active actor, usually plays dirty, mean,
and/or evil characters, like bikers and
Klingons. All over TV and movies. Was
Captain Barbera on "The Amazing Spider-
Man" TV show. But probably best known
as "Count" Malachi on "Happy Days." |
