Sleepstalker: The Sandman's Last Rites

Nomination Year: 1999
SYNOPSIS:  A serial killer gets special sand-like powers and tries to kill our hero. He succeeds. The end.

Most Ludicrous Premise

"Do I Talk to Myself? Why, I Guess I Do."
The old Satanic priest talks to himself down in his hideout, explaining the whole story.

Crummiest Ending

"It's Over. It's Finally Over."
It's not over. In fact, it gets worse. The baddie kills the main hero, and the heroine finally traps Sandman in a blast-furnace and torches him. She leaves triumphant, but the blind Satanic priest comes to the furnace and begins to sift through the ashes, implying a sequel.
