Nomination Year: 2000
SYNOPSIS: A girl from school invites some friends over to her creepy mansion while her folks are out of town. It turns out that she's a real-life witch, and all the guests at her party are descendants of the townsfolk that burned her ancestors. She summons her most powerful witch-ancestor for a little revenge, and murder, spells, and mayhem ensue.

I Don' Thin' That Word Mins What She Thin' It Mins
Being dead must have addled the ancient witch, because she refers to her present-day counterpart as "my beloved ANCESTOR." It's descendant, not ancestor! Argh!

Director Claim to Fame
David DeCoteau Also credited as Julian Breen, Ellen Cabot, Richard Chasen, Dave DeCoteau, Eric Mancini, David McCabe, Jack Reed, Victoria Sloan, Martin Tate, Joseph Tennent, and Mary Crawford -- so far. I'd try to disguise my name, too, if I had nearly 200 directors' credits, all crap. Following the pattern of most of his messterpieces, his next made-for-TV flop should be called The Wrong Director
