(Foreign Titles)
Nomination Year: 2002
SYNOPSIS: A giant ape is reputed to live deep in the darkest jungles of the Himalayas. Our hero succeeds in finding the beast, but also discovers that it's been raising a young woman since her parents were killed in a plane crash. The adventurer and the woman fall in love with each other, and he convinces her to take the ape back to Hong Kong along with him. In Hong Kong, the ape is mistreated, its jealousy gets the best of it, and there's only one way the film can end. Badly.
