Parasite (1982)
Nomination Year: 2004
SYNOPSIS: It's after the apocalypse and the rich live in the suburbs while the poor are sent to work camps. Our "hero" is a scientist working on a parasitic bioweapon for the suburban elite until a lab accident infects him with his own creation. He flees to a small town to continue his research in the hopes of curing himself. But his plans are disrupted when a local gang releases the weapon and his former employers send an MIB to track him down.
With the aid of the town's beautiful peach farmer (a not-yet-famous Demi Moore), he must recapture the parasite and find a cure. This film was originally shown in 3-D.

Attack of the Turd Cookie Tammy Faye Baker gets parasitized.
The "death by parasite" effect may have actually
improved her complexion.

"Cutting Butter With A Chainsaw" |
One Way To Take Care of a Bad Guy Beaten up, parasitized,
off the balcony, blown up, nothing but dead! Near
the end of the burning sequence, I'm pretty sure you
can see the stuntman's fire suit. And, right after
Demi says "It's over," there's a weird little SFX
sequence which makes no sense but is probably somehow
supposed to indicate that the parasite isn't really
dead.

Acting Appropriately Stupid |
What's This Funny Symbol Mean? The local
gang opens the biohazard container despite repeated
warnings from the hero not to. Once the inevitable
happens, instead of fleeing or helping their friend,
they kick the crap out of the hero. How dare you
give us good advice, asshole!

Produced nearly every crappy thing that Roger

Including perhaps the most tasteless, 2020's
Corona Zombies. |
