Peacemaker (1990)
Nomination Year: 2006
SYNOPSIS: An alien ship crashes on Earth. The alien punches an LA cop and
is shot 30 times (so, at least it's realistic!). But it turns
out that bullets can't kill him and he wakes up in the morgue
and kidnaps a beautiful pathologist. Turns out he's an alien
Peacemaker (cop), sent to Earth to track down an alien serial
killer who's hiding here. The pathologist agrees to help him,
but then she gets kidnapped by the other alien, who tells her
that HE'S the real Peacemaker, the aliens use Earth as a witness
relocation program, and the first alien is an assassin sent to
kill one of the relocated witnesses. The pathologist changes
sides more often then Italy before finally figuring out which
alien is the real Peacemaker and helping him defeat the criminal.

The Time/Space/Temporo-Thingy The Peacemaker tries to explain why the other alien aged twenty years when he didn't. Maybe because of the time/space wormhole thing?
"What does that mean?" "I don't know." Neither do we! "I'm not a scientist." No kidding!

"Cutting Butter With A Chainsaw" |
Bang! Zap! Burn! Fall! Boom! This is how the real Peacemaker gets rid of the true bad guy. He shoots him in the head. The bad guy staggers into the electric sign. Zap, crackle, electricity, catches fire. Burning merrily. After what seems like an eternity, he falls from the (third? fourth?) story onto the sidewalk below -- blowing apart when he hits the sidewalk.
