Stupidest-Looking Monster
Plantenstein, Part II
Another shot of the plant-monster in action. With its boxing-glove-like "hand" flowers, it's a Rock-'Em-Sock'-Em-Rutabaga.

"Whoops!"
Off to a Great Start
See those credits? Completely, utterly WRONG. The star is James Craig, not whoever the hell they said. And it was written by Ed Wood. THE Ed Wood. Thank you, IMDb, for alerting me to the tasty fact that the credits are actually for Mad Doctor of Blood Island. Check out "Paul" saying "liftoff to countdown." Shouldn't that be the other way around?

I Don't Know Where This Is Going, So I Give Up
Dr. B goes up the mountain with a goat to tempt the plant critter to safety. Suddenly they're falling(?). Then they plunge down the mountainside into some convenient stock-footage lava(?). And somehow the kid survives. Gosh. He didn't get much revenge.
