Spirits of Bruce Lee  (1973)
[+]
(Foreign Titles)
Nomination Year: 2009
SYNOPSIS: It has nothing to do with spirits or Bruce Lee. Nothing at all. I really wish there were Cover Copy. Anyhow, it's just the story of a guy wandering around China looking for the bastards who murdered his brother. He makes a friend, and meets a woman and her father. The four of them team up to take on the local gangsters. Predictible wackiness ensues.

You Don't Interrupt a Soliloquy, Dummy!
Chan Chin Wei (protagonist, left) recognizes his brother's watch in the hands of this lowlife gambler. He proceeds to kick butt and take names, using a little foot torture. The guy squeals. Wei has a moment of righteous anger, swearing vengeance. It's at that instant, in violation of all Bad Movie Precedent, that the gambler makes an ignoble attack. But the girl takes care of him.
